‘Got hate mails for film’s climax’

Aadi, who is happy with his latest film, Gaalipatam, says, “When Sampath Nandi narrated the subject to me, I didn’t accept the film immediately. I went home and I told my father and asked for his advice. He gave me the green signal and told me that the film’s subject was a reality as most youths were in a state of confusion.”

“I got so many hate mails after the release of the film because of the climax as they felt that it was against traditional marriages,” adds Aadi. The climax of the movie shows the couples separating, as they wanted to marry their loved ones. “But I also got mails appreciating me for doing a bold subject,” he says.
