Hyderabad: Though a large number of government departments will be shifted to temporary capital Vijayawada, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is in no mood to shift his camp office (Chief Minister’s office) from Hyderabad to Vijayawada in the near future.

“If I shift my office, I will have to function from a guest house or a rented accommodation in Vijayawada. In Hyderabad itself I am functioning from Lake View Guest House. Then, Hyderabad has been made joint capital for 10 years. How is it going to help the people if I shift,” Mr Naidu said replying to queries from media persons on growing demand to shift entire administration to the temporary capital.

“No one can dictate me to shift. I and my party will decide it keeping in view the aspirations of people,” Mr Naidu said in an apparent reference to demand from Telangana leaders that AP Chief Minister should shift his office to Vijayawada.
