K Chandrasekhar Rao will help students from Andhra Pradesh: N Chandrababu Naidu
Mr Naidu hoped the Telangana government would implement the scheme for all eligible students
Hyderabad: In a departure from his earlier stand, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, on Sunday supported Telangana’s survey and its decision to replace the fee reimbursement scheme with FAST. Mr Naidu hoped that K Chandrasekhar Rao would do justice to Seemandhra students studying in Telangana.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that as a government, he could not find fault with the Telangana government for conducting the household survey or introducing the FAST scheme. However, if there were any injustice, the Telugu Desam would not remain quiet.
While speaking to the media after his meeting with Mr Rao at the Raj Bhavan, Mr Naidu said, “Every government will have its own approach to serve the people and implement its schemes, there is nothing wrong in it; each government will conduct surveys on its own way, but the political parties will decide whether it is right or wrong.”
He added that the Telugu Desam party was there to take up issues if any injustice was done to the people.
In the same context, he added that any government had the right to abolish the previous government’s schemes and introduce new ones.
He said that when the fee reimbursement issue came up for discussion, the Telangana Chief Minister said that he had introduced a new project, but he did not say that he would implement the scheme for some students only.
Mr Naidu said he hoped that the Telangana government would implement the scheme for all eligible students and wouldn’t do any injustice.
