Telangana Intensive House-hold survey: Take debts data too, demand Sircilla people
During the survey, many people were not interested in giving out their bank details
Karimnagar: A few respondents were found to be irked to share information about their assets with the enumerators of the Intensive Household Survey.
They reportedly stalled the survey demanding that the enumerators collect data regarding debts along with assets at Sanjeevaiah Nagar in Sircilla on Tuesday.
Ragula Ramulu, along with many other residents, opposed collecting information about assets.
“While a column on debts of respondents was not included in the survey?” he questioned the enumerators.
However, the survey was resumed after authorities clarified the apprehension.
Similarly, many enumerators said that a few respondents were not interested to share their bank accounts.
“I did not insist the respondents to disclose their assets and bank accounts. However, a majority of the respondents did not hesitate to share their property with us,” said an enumerator.
