Uttar Pradesh: Scolded for not going to school, boy hangs self

Ballia (Uttar Pradesh): An 11-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide after being scolded by his father for not going to school, police said.

Satyam Singh hanged himself from the roof of his house in Dehri village on August 20.

Superintendent of Police KC Goswami said that Satyam was scolded by his father Shiv Prakash for not going to school.
