OnePlus One, presently the most awaited Android smartphone in India, has been in the news for its most powerful hardware and camera and is expecting to have a low price too. Yet another Chinese brand to make an entry into India, OnePlus is said to be launching the OnePlus One in India for a cheaper price and it could give Xiaomi’s Mi3 a run for its money.

However, since the brand has not yet made its debut in India as yet, the product OnePlus One has been going rival all around the world.

The OnePlus One runs on CyanogenMod, a custom flavour of Android from the well-known developer, CyanogenMod, which is heavily customised and tweaked with numerous features. The OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch full HD LCD display with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The chipset under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with four processors clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with an Adreno 330 graphics processor. The SoC is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 16 / 64 GB of storage. The primary camera is a 13MP which uses a Sony Xmor IMX214 sensor and is said to be one of the best cameras out there. Some even state that the camera can clash head-on with a few DSLR cameras, and the front camera is a 5MP. Lastly, the battery fuelling the One is a 3100 mAh Li-ion.

The OnePlus One 64GB variant is available for $349 (approx Rs 21,000) and the 16GB variant retails at $299 (approx Rs 18,000). However, the only way to buy it for now is by invitation from their website and a few other contests.
