Beijing: Police officials in China’s troubled Xinjiang province have ordered that bus tickets be purchased by passengers under their real names with ID cards, starting next month in an attempt to prevent terror attacks. As of September 1, people need to use one of 25 types of ID cards when buying tickets at long-distance bus stations across the Uygur region, the regional departments of public security and transport said.
