Hyderabad: There are serious upheavals expected within the Nandamuri clan. And the rivalry between NTR Jr and Balakrishna could enter 2015 as well, with their films all set to clash in January for Sankranti.

But the younger star is expecting a more immediate trouble as Balakrishna’s fans are threatening a boycott of the upcoming Rabhasa, scheduled for an August 29 release.

“Until and unless there’s a personal and open apology towards Balakrishna, we will be continuing our ‘no support’ stand against NTR Jr,” a member of the Nandamuri fan club said on Friday.

Much of NTR Jr’s career depends on the release and success of Rabhasa because the actor’s apparent snub at his uncle’s campaign during the elections early this year isolated him from thousands of fans and in Tollywood that’s a career death sentence.

In 2015 too, both actors are focusing on a Sankranti release. Balakrishna is in fact, back from his injury.

“He is actively shooting for his movie and a few comedy scenes are currently being shot at Film City with comedian M.S. Narayana,” says a representative of the actor.

Meanwhile, NTR Jr too is giving January, 2015, his best shot. “We are confident of releasing the film on January 9, 2015,” announced producer Bandla Ganesh during the launch.
But all these efforts are unfortunately depending on a single apology from NTR Jr and if that sorry fails to arrive on time, the actor’s career fortunes will become anybody’s guess.
