Actor Jeremy Piven is giving his support to a fund-raising initiative to mark the centenary of World War I.
The 49-year-old Entourage star will be taking part in a daredevil stunt in The 100 Year Challenge, a year-long fundraiser for the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, England, which is a site of remembrance for fallen soldiers, reported Daily Express.
Piven has the choice of either skydiving or abseiling later this year to raise money for the cause, and all the proceeds will go to the Arboretum.
“I feel honoured to have been asked to support a charity that I feel so strongly about. I wanted to do more to honour the brave service of these men and women, so I didn’t hesitate to get behind the 100 Year challenge and I’m very much looking forward to take part in it,” Piven said.
