Kochi: The bomb threat call that forced an abrupt closure of Lulu Mall on Friday originated from Ernakulam district, police said. They however failed to trace the culprits. "We have made some headway in the probe but it is not prudent to reveal anything more at the moment," said Xavier Sebastian, assistant police commissioner, Thrikkakkara who leads the probe. He added that police was treating the incident as a hoax call.
The mall however functioned normally on Saturday with visitors thronging the place. The Mall was closed on Friday following a series of telephone calls saying that a bomb was placed on its premises.
