Yahoo has brought the International edition of its popular News Digest for both iOS and Android to users in India. It delivers a summarized version of the top International news, in an easy-to-navigate design on one's mobile device.
Using some smart algorithms as well human editors, each story is converted into collection of “atoms” -- articles, maps, Wikipedia entries, videos, and photos -- that make it easy for users to "digest" the news quickly. The news compiled by editors in the UK, US, and Malaysia, will deliver a timely Digest everyday at 8am and 6pm local time, wherever you are in the world.
