Colombo: Two Indian nationals have been arrested here for allegedly possessing photographs of Sri Lanka's Parliament and Prime Minister's residence, police said today.

Acting on a tipoff, they were arrested by the police on Tuesday while travelling in a three-wheeler taxi in Colombo, police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said.

Police claimed they have found images of the Parliament and the residence of the prime minister in a laptop and a camera the duo had.

However, the suspects, who have not been identified, have claimed that they kept the images for collection. Police have detained them for further investigations.
