Civil Service Academy in Nagaland in the Kerala model
Thiruvananthapuram: A team from Nagaland visited Kerala civil services academy to study the possibility of a civil services academy in their state. This was part of their efforts to ensure that more people from this north east state enter civil services.
Civil Services Academy academic coordinator P.K. Sankaran Kutty Nair told Deccan Chronicle that a three member team led by Nagaland home secretary Ms Lithrongla G. Chishi and members of the State Administrative Training Institute Dr. S. Rongsen Longkumer and Dr Hovishal Sothu held discussions with academy director K.P. Noufal and Senior Officers of the Academy for finding the pros and cons, to establish a Civil Service Academy in Nagaland in the Kerala model. They visited the virtual class room, digital library and reading room and also interacted with the students there and students of the regional centre, Palakkad through the virtual facility.
