Vijayawada: APCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy said an all-party meeting should be convened to take a final decision on location of state capital.

He said the ultimate decision on state capital lies with state government, but it should not take a hasty decision. Interacting with media persons before leaving for Nandigama bypoll campaign, he said that the Congress would not allow a unilateral decision on state capital.

An all-party meeting should be convened and in-depth discussions should be held before coming to a final decision, he added.

Stressing on the need for development of all the regions, Mr Reddy said the Sivaramakrishnan Committee report should be placed in public domain.
