Mumbai: After her stint with Bigg Boss last season, Pratyusha Banerjee is back with Hum Hai Na on Sony.

The actress who started out as Anandi in the hugely popular Balika Vadhu is happy to trade her ghoonghat with trendier clothes on the new show.

Talking about the same, Pratyusha says, “The viewers will now get to see my face entirely. I can also flaunt my back. I am done with the ghoonghat and ghagra choli.”

In the show, Pratyusha plays a young girl in search of a perfect partner. Off screen, she recently broke up with her boyfriend Makrand Malhotra. We ask the actress if the hunt for the dream man is both on and off screen.

“Yes. I am looking for a man — someone to whom I mean the world. I don’t know how far my wish will come true, but it’s all right if it doesn’t. No man is worth sulking over,” she adds.

The promos of Bigg Boss season 8 are already on air, so we ask the actress if looking at them makes her nostalgic. She says, “Yes I have seen the promos featuring Salman sir. Every time I see them, my instant reaction is arre wah ek saal poora ho bhi gaya (It’s been a year already). All the memories return. How time flies.”

Pratyusha tells us that she is still very much friends with Kamya Punjabi who she met in the house.

“It’s a co-incidence that Kamya signed Beintehaa and I signed Hum Hai Na on the same day and started shooting on the same day. Now we are both busy with our shoot, but we plan to catch up so we can chill and gossip,” she says.

We ask her if she is in touch with any other contestant from the show? “Armaan Kohli and Sangram Singh send messages once in a while, but Kamya is a friend for life,” she says.
