Police launched the cordon and search operation to implement the safe Hyderabad idea

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police conducted a massive cordon and search operation at Pahadishareef early on Wednesday targeting the snake gang’s associates.
Over 450 policemen led by Cyberabad police commissioner C.V. Anand raided many houses of habitual criminals and rowdy sheeters at Shaheen Nagar to sanitise the area. The cops took 19 suspects including five suspected members of the snake gang and eight rowdies into custody. The team also seized 30 vehicles and two horses.
The police launched the cordon and search operation to implement the safe Hyderabad idea of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Cyberabad police commissioner C.V. Anand said in a release that Shaheen Nagar is home to 35 rowdy sheeters, and it was the main operational area of arrested snake gang leader Faisal Dayani.
“Faisal Dayani’s brothers have been taken into custody for showing cruelty to animals. Other members of the gang who provided information to Faisal Dayani about young couples in isolated places were also taken into custody,” the commissioner said.
After raiding the house of Faisal Dayani police found that the gangster was leading a luxurious life, and had a Mahindra Scorpio car and two bikes. Police seized the vehicles as it did not have valid documents.
Cyberabad police have so far conducted five cordon and search operations and have taken 55 suspects into custody. The police also seized 126 two wheelers, 31 three wheelers, and nine four wheelers during the raids conducted in Dundigal, Chandanagar, Pahadishareef, Jawah-arnagar and Mailard-evpally. Top police officials said that citizens are feeling safe now as many criminals and rowdies have been rounded up.
