ACCI welcomes decision to make AP capital in Vijayawada region

Vijaywada: Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Vijaywada chapter, on Thursday welcomed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's decision to make new capital of Andhra Pradesh around Vijayawada.

ACCI President Muttavarapu Murali Krishna said it is a good decision taken by the Chief minister. "Vijayawada is well connected by road, rail and air and is centrally located in Andhra Pradesh. City has all other resources like industry, business and agriculture to provide employment for the youth and the IT sector is also eyeing on the city for its growth," he said.

On the education front, the Acharya Nagarjuna University is very close to Vijayawada and Dr NTR University of Health sciences is located in this city.

He said ACCI will support the government for whatever it requires to develop the city as one of the best capitals in the country.
