New Delhi: Silver prices traded lower by 0.10 per cent to Rs 42,035 per kg in futures trade on September 5 as speculators offloaded positions on the back of a weak global trend. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in far-month December fell by Rs 41, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 42,035 per kg in business turnover of 412 lots.

Market analysts said speculators trimmed positions in line with a weak global trend mainly helped silver prices to trade lower at futures market here. Meanwhile, silver lost 0.2 per cent to USD 19.00 an ounce, the lowest since June 10 in Singapore.
