Madhu plays a lead in her next

Hyderabad: Rajesh Touchriver, the National Award-winning director is coming up with another woman-centric film. According to reliable sources the director has roped in Telugu actress Madhu Shalini for a bi-lingual film. “This is a woman-centric film and the director has met the actress and shown interest in casting her as the lead character,” says a source.

The director’s last Telugu film Naa Bangaru Talli won a National Award.

Madhu Shalini is playing a reporter in the multi-starrer Gopala Gopala and the film’s shooting is currently underway. The actress also plays a TV reporter in Ram Gopal Varma’s Anukshanam, a psycho-thriller that stars Manchu Vishnu. The film will hit the screens on September 12.
