T. Harish Rao hits out at Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan
T. Harish Rao challenged N. Chandrababu Naidu and actor Pawan Kalyan to campaign in Medak Lok Sabha
Hyderabad: Irrigation minister T. Harish Rao challenged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and actor Pawan Kalyan to campaign in Medak Lok Sabha constituency if they have the guts. “They have foisted BJP nominee T. Jaggareddy in Medak byelection, but they are shying away from campaign. Why? They fear they will not get votes and will lose face before BJP national leadership,” said Mr Rao. As electioneering picks up in Medak Lok Sabha constituency, the war of words between the TRS the Congress and the BJP-TD combine will reach its crescendo.
Telangana state Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao will hit the road with a public meeting in Narsapur, the constituency represented by Congress nominee Suneetha Laxma Reddy, on September 10. Mr Rao’s visit will raise the tempo. BJP nominee Jaggareddy, who is promising heaven to the constituency through the Centre, too is going all out against the TRS leadership stating that the TRS leaders are spending sleepless nights since he joined the BJP.
Telangana PCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah, BJP president G. Kishan Reddy, Dr K. Laxman and other TRS rivals have intensified the verbal attack on the TRS and Mr Chandrasekhar Rao
Welcoming Eggu Mallesh, Telangana Kurma Sangam leader and others into the party fold at a function here, Mr Harish Rao alleged Seemandhra leaders and the media made a villain out of Mr Chandrasekhar Rao. “But after seeing his rule in Telangana, people from all parts of the country and world are flocking to Telangana,” he said. Taking a dig at the Congress, the BJP and the Telugu Desam leaders, Mr Harish Rao said many leaders who lost in the recent polls were campaigning in vain.
