Only 5 per cent Android users to buy iPhone 6

Washington: A new survey reveals that a mere five percent of Android users would shift to the Apple's upcoming flagship phone, the iPhone 6.

However, the survey also reveals that 12.4 percent of Android users are 'somewhat likely' to switch to iPhone 6. So collectively, 17 percent of Android users are likely to switch to iPhone 6.

The survey was conducted by surveying company Survata, whose survey services are used by many Fortune 100 companies, insists that its analysis of these 889 consumers between September 2 and 4 shows a trend.

Meanwhile, 36 percent of iPhone 5 owners said they were 'very likely' to upgrade. 18 percent of iPhone 5S and 15 percent of iPhone 5C owners also expressed their extreme likelihood.
