Mumbai: Delhi High Court received a plea seeking a ban on the release of Homi Adajania’s Finding Fanny. Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are the lead stars of the film.

The petition claimed that the name ‘Fanny’ in the title of the film and songs are vulgar.

The petition filed by NGO, Jai Jagriti Foundation and Nandini Tiwari, wanted the word ‘Fanny’ to be removed from all the songs, posters and banners.

The dictionary meaning of the word "fanny" was sexually explicit, and using the word in the movie will hurt people's feelings, especially minors, the petition said.
