Apple has launched its new iPhone 6 in 4.7-inch and 5-inch display variants. The 4.7-inch Retina HD display comes with 1334 x 750 resolution. The 5.5-inch Retina HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution provides around 88 percent more viewing area.

Mumbai: Apple has finally unveiled its all new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. iPhone 6 Plus has been updated with better features as compared to iPhone 5s.

The iPhone 6 features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with 1334 x 750 resolution, provides 38 per cent more viewing area as compared to iPhone 5s. The iPhone 6 Plus features an even bigger 5.5-inch Retina HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, providing 88 percent more viewing area and nearly three times the pixels than iPhone 5s.

With iOS 8, motion data from M8 appears in the Health app so you can see how many flights of stairs you've climbed, or how far you've walked or run. Developers can use CoreMotion APIs that take advantage of M8 and HealthKit to create apps that help you take better care of your health and fitness.

The ‘Apple Pay’ on iPhone 6 helps you use your iPhone 6 as an e–wallet, featuring an Touch ID technology. With Apple Pay, your payments are private.The in-built Passbook already stores your boarding passes, tickets, coupons, and more. Now it can store your credit and debit cards, too. You can even add your credit or debit card from the iTunes account to Passbook by feeding in your card security code. Apple Pay works with most of the major credit and debit cards from the top US banks.

The iSight camera on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models can capture your card information instantly. Apple claims that the first card you add automatically becomes your default payment card, but you can go to Passbook anytime to pay with a different card.
