Mumbai: Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur are super excited to start the food yatra as part of the promotions of their film Daawat-e-Ishq.

The lead pair will tour their favourite food joints around the country to spread the word about their film while lapping up some lip-smacking delights.

But before they could kick start their food trip, we hear Adi and Parineeti had an argument over where should they flag off their journey.

A source close to the team says, “Both of them are foodies who are very excited about the whole trip. Aditya wanted to flag off from Good Luck Café in Bandra, which is known for its bun-maska and has Salman Khan as a regular patron. Parineeti, on the other hand, has a newfound love for South Indian cuisine and wanted to start from Madras Café in Matunga. It’s famous for its authentic South Indian flavours and the filter coffee, of course. Madras Café is an early morning breakfast destination for many actors. Parineeti herself was introduced to the café by her other actor friends at YRF.”

She and Aditya debated for long and finally it was the latter that caved in. So now the road trip from Mumbai to Chandigarh will commence at Madras Café, just the way Parineeti wanted it to.
