Patient, ambulance staffers die in road accident
The ambulance collided with a bus near Peddapuram in East Godavari District

Kakinada: Three persons in a ‘108’ ambulance including a patient died, while four other passengers of a RTC bus were injured here on Thursday as a RTC bus rammed into it at ADB Road near Peddapuram in East Godavari District.
According to the Peddapuram Police, the ambulance was carrying P. Sathibabu of Rangampet village to a private hospital, Kakinada.
Sathibabu, who had been suffering from a kidney ailment, died on the spot.
The ambulance driver T. Srinivas and technician Thatikonda Uma Sankar were declared 'brought dead' by the doctors, when they were shifted to a private hospital at Kakinada.
Peddapuram police is still investigating the matter.
