iPhone 6 Plus 128GB briefly spotted on eBay for Rs 1.5 lakh
The product was pulled down from eBay later
Mumbai: It seems like Apple’s newly launched 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus is already available for pre-orders in India. The official website of Apple had given out a notification that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be made available only from October 17. However, you can place your order for iPhone 6 Plus 128GB version on eBay.in. Unfortunately, the dealer on eBay has priced it for a whopping Rs 1,50,000 - more than double the original cost.
The dealer on eBay India claims that the iPhone will be a genuine import and will be shipped by September 30. It seems that dealers are cashing in on the Apple fans and the affluent who can afford the new smartphone. The unlocked version of the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus is available for $849, which is approximately Rs 50,000 (excluding all taxes and duties).
While compiling this article, it was noticed that the product was pulled down from eBay and gives out a notification that it no more available on the site. A possibility that eBay has either banned the sale since it is not yet officially being sold in India or, either the dealer has already taken enough orders.
