J & K floods: Oomen Chandy asks Ramesh Chennithala to stay in Delhi

The minister assured all assistance from the defence forces to ensure the safety of Malayalis stranded in Kashmir

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Friday directed Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala to stay back in Delhi for two more days to coordinate the safe return of Malayalis, lodged in hotels in Jammu and Kashmir.  
An official release from CM’s office said that Mr Chennithala met Union Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and sought his help.

The minister assured all assistance from the defence forces to ensure the safety and security of Malayalis stranded in Kashmir.
