He further said that as the AP Reorganisation Act had mandated that delimitation be taken up before the 2019 general elections, the reorganisation of Telangana districts will be taken up once the process is over. This is not the first time the Chief Minister has gone back on the decisions taken by the government and the TRS.

Earlier, he had denied reports that the loan waiver scheme is applicable farmers who took loans only dring 2013-14. He also said that the waiver does not pertain to gold loans. This “selective leak” came from finance minister Etela Rajender who had attended the State Level Bankers Committee meeting. However, the Chief Minister said the scheme will be applicable to all loans including gold loans.
