Nellore: Telangana and AP politicians may have differences, but not the people of the two states going by a padayatra taken up by Ayyappa devotees of Karimnagar district in Telangana and East Godavari and Krishna districts of Andhra Pradesh to Sabarimala for the well-being of the people of both states. D.V. Appa Rao Guruswamy of Karimnagar, Naganjaneyulu Guruswamy and Srinivasulu Reddy Guruswamys of East Godavari and Krishna along with 40 devotees reached Kavali on Tuesday. Local devotees arranged shelter for the devotees at Nanda Deep Sai Samaj at Ramamoorthypeta and arranged lunch for the group. Speaking on the occasion, the Guruswamys said that people of both the states are not happy over the division and majority of them are in favour of combined state for Telugu people. They said that their objective of the padayatra to holy shrine is healthy relations between people. Referring to rain following them, they said that it is good omen.
