Nara Lokesh’s men to spy on ministers
Lokesh is following N.T. Rama Rao’s footsteps
Hyderabad: Telugu Desam leader Nara Lokesh’s aides will be appointed in all ministers’ offices, including the CM’s. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu signed a file sanctioning 30 media liaison officers (MLOs) on Wednesday. Of them, 19 will be posted in ministers’ offices and five at the Chief Minister's offices. The remaining will be posted with the AP government’s monthly magazine Andhra Pradesh. Sources said the 30 MLOs were selected by Lokesh and his aide Abhista, who is the OSD at the CM’s office. The MLOs worked as analysts during the general elections. Each MLO will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 25,000 and a conveyance allowance of Rs 3,000.
Lokesh is also following N.T. Rama Rao’s footsteps. During NTR’s time, the TD established the NTR Vijnana Parishad and gave training to TD workers. The latter were appointed as PROs in ministers’ offices. They reported directly to NTR. In the same way, now Lokesh’s men will be appointed as PROs in all the ministers offices. They have to report about the functioning of the ministers’ offices. and any party worker or leader peddling influence.
