Anantapur: Cabinet Sub-committee to study on NTR canteens, has visited Chennai to st-udy the maintenance of Amma canteens in Tamil Nadu on Friday. Civil supplies minister Paritala Sunitha, agriculture minister P. Pulla Rao and municipal administration minister Narayana and other officials visited canteen at 126th division in Santhom area of Chennai.

The ministers had interacted with the SHG women who were running canteen. The ministers had also discussed with the organisers about daily maintenance of canteens to serve quality of food in hygienic condition. The team of ministers and officials also studied about serving purified water with RO system at each canteen. Later, the sub committee met Chennai mayor Doraswamy at his chambers and discussed about successful running of Amma canteens in Tamil Nadu state.
