Khammam: Telangana government plans to construct toilets in 25,000 schools, compound walls in 10,000 schools and provide purified water plants in 5,000 schools in the state in the next year as part of its comprehensive education policy.
Disclosing this on Friday, minister for education Jagadeeswar Reddy said that the government has chalked out a plan to extend quality education to the kids of Telangana. He said that the government has identified vacancies in lower cadre and they would be filled soon.
“The previous governments failed to take the schemes to the doorsteps of the people. Due to this, there has been no change in the lives of the people after six decades,” he said.
