Hyderabad: Home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy and a batch of TRS legislators from Mahbubnagar on Sunday objected to TD legislator A. Revanth Reddy’s allegations against the Chief Minister and the state government.

He demanded that instead of allowing his MLA to talk on issues, it would be proper for the TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu himself to come out with his objections on specific issues.

Addressing a meeting organised in connection with the joining of few leaders from CPI and CPM into the TRS  this afternoon at the party headquarters,  the home minister said it would be better that Mr Naidu either comes out openly and says something or keep quiet instead of telling Revanth Reddy to  hold forth.

“If anyone criticises our Chief Minister or the TRS, they will have no address in Telangana” warned the home minister.

He also indicated that several TD leaders are going to join the TRS soon. TRS MLAs from Mahbubnagar Jupally Krishna Rao, Guvvala Balaraju and G. Laxma Reddy at a separate press conference slammed Revanth Reddy for his baseless allegations against the government.
