Mumbai: For Rajinikanth, impossible is nothing except the one time that he could not save Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan's life! While one is the Superstar of Indian Cinema and the other is touted as most handsome actor of Bollywood. Rajinikanth and Hrithik Roshan are iconic stars in their own right. We sifted through a repository of videos to find you this gem from the movie 'Bhagwan Dada' (1986), where you can see a young Hrithik Roshan breathing his last in the arms of Rajinikanth. The movie was directed by Hrithik's grandfather J Om Prakash and also featured Sridevi as the heroine. Wouldn’t it be great to see these two stars together in a film now?
At the mention of Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's name, the first image that usually conjures up in our heads is the iconic ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’ dance step from the 2000 blockbuster ‘Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai’. A quick Google search will tell you that Hrithik Roshan started his film career 14 years back with ‘Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai’ and established himself among Bollywood's top rung performers. But a lesser known fact is that the dancer par excellence's first dancing stint on the silver screen was in ‘Aas Paas’ (1981).
This one is a treat for all the Hrithik fans, where you can see him take the center stage in a Punjabi number featuring Hema Malini and Dharmendra. Little Hrithik can be seen swirling Punjabi moves in a pink kurta-pajama and winking mischievously at Hema Malini. Looks like the ‘Bang Bang’ star danced to the right beats from the very beginning!
But dancing is not all that there is to the Greek god of Bollywood. While most stars have expressed their desire to work with Superstar Rajinikanth, Hrithik is one step ahead of his peers and has already checked the popular wish off his list. Duggu, as he's fondly called by his friends and family, is seen playing Rajni's adopted son in the 1986 film ‘Bhagwaan Dada’. Interestingly Hrithik's role was as big as his father- Rakesh Roshan's in ‘Bhagwaan Dada’, who is also seen in the film.
