Are Ethan Hawke & Laura Dern related?

Mumbai: Ethan Hawke startled actress Laura Dern recently when he told her that they might be cousins. 

 

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 43-year-old actor told Dern, 47, the link between her mother’s side, actress Diane Ladd, who’s cousin of playwright Tennessee Williams, while Hawke is known to be the great-grandnephew of Williams. 

 

Hawke, who recently debuted his documentary Seymour: An Introduction, and Dern are now believed to be making plans to meet up in New York and explore into their family trees deeper.
