Thiruvananthapuram: A 19-year-old girl from Muttathara was arrested on Tuesday by city police for forging documents and attending first year MBBS classes at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
Medical College principal Dr Ramdas Pisharody said the girl had appeared in 10 classes and used to cite various excuses to avoid showing her documents to teachers. Though the session started in the second week of September, only 12 classes could be conducted owing to holidays in between. About 200 students had taken these classes. “Students were admitted to the classes after production of admission tickets. However, the girl evaded teachers for a week.
