High Court seeks CBI clarification for not probing Galla Aruna case

As the CBI fails to probe the case, the complainant moved the High Court

HyderabadThe Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday sought the response from the CBI in not investigating a case registered against former minister Galla Aruna Kumari and her family members.
 
The Principal Special Judge for CBI cases at Nampally on April 2, 2014, based on a private complaint lodged by one Purushottam Naidu, ordered the CBI to register case against Aruna Kumari and her family members, including her son Jayadev, with regard to alleged encroachment of land in Nanakramguda.
 
As the CBI fails to probe the case, the complainant moved the High Court. While dealing with the plea, Justice P. Naveen Rao asked the counsel representing the CBI for the reasons in not investigating the case.
 
The judge granted three weeks time to the CBI to respond on the plea and issued notices to the respondents in the plea. HC informed about  medical facilities The Director of medical education, Telangana state, informed the Hyderabad High Court that the government has filled vacancies of the medical officers in Cherlapally Central Prison and also arranged two ambulances with four drivers.
