CLT20 CSK vs LL: Rain washes out match in Bangalore

Bangalore: The 11th game of Champions League T20 (CLT20) between former champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lahore Lions (LL) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalroe ahs been washed out due to heavy rain.

The MS Dhoni-led unit did not particularly have a superb start to their CLT20 campaign as they were beaten by KKR in their opening game. But CSK made a winning comeback in their next match. For Lahore Lions, they put up a solid show in the qualifiers. However, they failed to fire against the Kolkata Knight Riders. While there were sparks of brilliance from Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad, Lahore Lions' fielding and failure of other batsmen put the team down.

The umpires took the decision at around 9 pm (IST) when they realised that even a five-over game was impossible.
