Mumbai: Shoplifting is not uncommon. However, successful and easy shoplifting in high-profile stores raises eyebrows.

An Apple store in the US has been in the news recently when former NBA player, Suns Guard Rex Chapman was caught on the surveillance camera for stealing goods.

According to a report on AzCentral, Rex Chapman was caught for stealing merchandise from an Apple store. He has been stealing goods almost nine times to a tune of $14,000 worth of Apple products.

The report stated that the police revealed Chapman’s modus operandi. He would enter the store with a white Apple sales bag and fill it with the stolen products. He would make it appear that he was purchasing the goods using the iPhone app, which allows the customer to self-checkout within an apple store before leaving without paying for the items.
