Maharashtra Polls: MIM fields Md Rafi’s son

The party also announced the names of 19 other candidates

Hyderabad: All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen on Friday announced Mohammed Shahed Rafi, son of legendary singer late Mohammed Rafi, to contest from the Mumbadevi segment in Mumbai city in the ensuing polls to the Maharashtra Assembly.
 
Apart from Shahed Rafi, the party announced the names of 19 other candidates. Avinash Gopichand was given the party ticket for Kurla (SC) segment, Hussian Azeem Shareef for Andheri (West), Khan Rehbar Siraj for Bandra East and Moinuddin Yarkhan will be the candidate from Chandivali segment in Mumbai city.
