Demand to make probe report public
The TRS government neither acted on the recommendations nor made efforts to make it public
Hyderabad: Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakara Reddy on Tuesday demanded that the government make public the enquiry report containing the largescale irregularities in Film Nagar Cooperative Housing Society in Jubilee Hills.
Addressing news conference at the CLP office here on Tuesday, the Congress leader said many high profile individuals who got land for constructing houses have indeed built mansions against the norms and sold them to commercial establishments illegally.
He said that though a high-level enquiry was ordered by the previous Congress government and the report was also submitted, the TRS government neither acted on the recommendations nor made efforts to make it public.
He alleged that actor Krishna has illegally sold few acres of his Padmalaya studio and present minister T. Harish Rao even questioned this wh-ile in Opposition but now keeping quite after coming to power.
He also said that in Ashok Nagar, some persons launched one bogus housing society and occupied 3,500 Sq yards of Ashok Nagar nala bed and constructed houses. He demanded that the government immediately intervene and evict the encroachers.
