Vivek completed his graduation in architecture from Anna University in 1996, he then collaborated with art director P. Krishna Murthy. Later, Vivek joined Sabu Cyril, popular art director as assistant, during 1997-2003 and worked for various films.

Vivek’s first film as an art director was Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and he bagged the prestigious Nandi Award for his work. Since then, he has worked in more than 20 films, across  Telugu, Bengali, Kannada and Tamil film industries.

One of the highlights of his work is that he builds eco-friendly sets.
