Funds for Andhra Pradesh after October 15
Sitaraman said that the BJP and TD are working together for the development of AP
Vijayawada: Union Minister of Commerce Ms Nirmala Sitaraman said that the central government may release funds for AP state after October 15. She said that the BJP government is committed for the development of AP. The minister participated in Swachh Bharat programme organised here on Thursday along with CM N Chandrababu Naidu. She said the central government working on providing special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
Replying to a question on financial deficit of the state, she said that the central government likely to release funds after October 15.
She said that the BJP and TD are working together for the development of Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, addressing a meeting organized on the occasion of Swachh Bharat programme and launching of NTR Bharosa scheme here, she said that she would initiate steps to get funds from central government.
