Samsung launches Galaxy Grand Prime in India

Samsung has finally launched the most awaited Galaxy Grand Prime in India. The Galaxy Grand Prime sports a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixel) TFT display and is powered with 1.2GHz quad-core processor and comes with 1GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Prime runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and has an onboard storage capacity of 8GB, which can also be expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card.
With the introduction of 5MP front facing camera sporting an 85-degree ultra-wide lens on Galaxy Grand Prime, the company wants to move its focus towards creating a trend of selfies and ‘groupfie’ among its consumers. On the other hand, the handset also features an 8MP auto focus rear camera.
The handset weighs about 156 grams, its thickness measures around 8.6 mm and is fuelled using a 2600mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime will be priced below 17,000 for the Indian market.
