Ram Gopal Varma put on notice for bad poster

The filmmaker was taken to task for a poster of his latest film Savitri

Hyderabad: The State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) took up a suo motu case against filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma for a poster of his latest film Savitri. 
 
The commission opined that the poster involving a child is vulgar and is a violation of child rights.
 
It also held that violating child rights by involving children in any obscene or vulgar scenes or picturisation is a crime under Section 292 sub-clauses (I) and (II) of the IPC and punishable with imprisonment of five years or more.
