Devotees throng Vemulawada temple
Around 50,000 devotees visited the temple during the two days

Karimnagar: Thousands of devotees thronged Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy temple in Vemulawada and offered prayers on Friday and Saturday on the occasion of Dasara festival. According to the temple management, around 50,000 devotees visited the temple during the two days which also helped in earning a good revenue. Many students and youngsters visited the temple as their schools and colleges are closed for festival vacation.
The devout included a large number of pilgrims from the state and neighbouring Maharashtra, who took part in the Sobhayatra of goddess Durga Devi. Karimngar Range DIG R. Bheem Naik also visited the temple and offered special prayers on Saturday. The temple authorities made necessary arrangements for the festival.
