TPDK protests RSS programme on DD channel

Around 12 members from TPDK, led by Arusamy, staged a protest in front of the office

Coimbatore: Members of the Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (TPDK) staged a protest in front of Doordarshan Kendra office on Dr Balasundaram Road in Coimbatore on Saturday morning, condemning the telecast of live programme of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on a national TV channel.

According to Race Course police, around 12 members from TPDK, led by Arusamy, staged a protest in front of the office claiming that a national TV channel should not telecast an RSS programme and that this was highly condemnable. However, they were immediately arrested by the Race Course police who cleared them from the place.
