Bojjala, Telagu Desam MLAs attend Janmabhoomi-Maa Vuru

Reddy distributed pensions to the beneficiaries under the ‘NTR Bharosa’ scheme

Tirupati: Minister for forests Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy and the elected representatives of TD took part in the ‘Janmabhoomi - Maa Vuru’, the flagship programme of the state government at various places across Chittoor district on Saturday.Mr Reddy, who took part in the programme underway at PTM mandal, B. Kothakota, T. Sadum and Kothavuru on Saturday, distributed pensions to the beneficiaries under the ‘NTR Bharosa’ scheme. He told people that a sum of Rs32 crore was sanctioned to disburse pensions to 3.12 lakh people in Chittoor district.
 
Meanwhile, Tirupati MLA M. Venkataramana took part in the ‘Janmabhoomi’ held at Thimminaidupalem, Auto Nagar, Parvathipuram and at several other places in Tirupati. The local MLA told the people that safe drinking water at an affordable price would be supplied at seven different locations in Tirupati in the first phase under the ‘NTR Sujala Sravanti’.
Mr Ramana added that the programme in the near future would be extended to 40 different locations in Tirupati.
 
Meanwhile, revenue & endowments department principal secretary J.C. Sharma took part in the programme held at Renigunta. Mr Sharma called upon the officials to ensure the fruits of ‘Janmabhoomi Maa Vuru’ reach out to the doorsteps of the people at the grassroots level.
 
Chittoor MP N. Siva Prasad, MLAs Peddir-eddi Ramachandra Reddy, G. Shankar, D.A. Satyaprabha, N. Amarnath Reddy and others took part in similar programmes organised at various places across the district.
