A musical and film on WWI for Omung Kumar's next?

Mumbai: After the success of the Mary Kom biopic, director Omung Kumar is all set to take on two new projects. According to reports, the biopic director is planning on making a musical and film based on World War I.

Omung, who made his directorial debut with ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ has decided to step out of his comfort zone and try other genres of films.

The cast has not been finalised yet, and reports state that the untitled project will be male-centric film and will feature plenty of dramatic elements in the screenplay.

Omung is very excited about the musical project. Reportedly the script of the same had been written before he begun working on the Mary Kom biopic.

An official announcement is yet to be made.
