Reshmi Menon bags yet another film on friendship
The actor to act in Natpadhigaram 79 which deals in contemporary friendship
Ravichandran, who has delivered super hits, like Kannedhire Thondrinaal, Majnu and introduced composer Harris Jayaraj to Tamil, is back after a long hiatus. His new movie, which deals with contemporary friendship, has been titled Natpadhigaram 79. Raj Bharath, who did a crucial role in Mysshkin’s Onaayum Aattukuttiyum, plays the male lead with Reshmi Menon of Inidhu Inidhu fame as the female lead.
Amjad Khan who made an impressive debut in Vallinam is yet another hero. “Even Kannedhire Thondrinaal dealt with romance and friendship and its major success was due to its fresh treatment of the subject. In Natpadhigaram 79, though I am once again touching on friendship, it will be in a different dimension,” according to the director.
He adds, “When I introduced Harris in Majnu, the songs became chartbusters and the talk of the town. Similarly, debut composer Neelam Nilambur’s numbers will be a hit too. Veteran composer Deva has crooned a gaana number for this film after a gap.”
